Pfaffinger Foundation

Pfaffinger Foundation needed to update their ten-year old website to establish a more trustworthy, professional appearance. The site needed to accommodate an older generation of people with poor vision or other issues that might make navigation difficult. So we took extra care with accessibility, font size, color contrast, and making things as clear and straightforward as possible. We also procured a photographer to take professional headshots of the staff.

About Pfaffinger Foundation

Since their founding in 1936, they have helped the employees and retirees who have worked at the former Times Mirror companies during times of hardship. Their caring case managers talk with each applicant to understand people’s circumstances, to share resources and, in many cases, make a recommendation for a grant to assist with an essential need.

Pfaffinger Foundation also provides community grants to local nonprofits and through their Family Self-Sufficiency Initiative, and they partner with local nonprofits to work with their case managers to provide small grants to help low income working families become more stable.
