Marcy Rye · Principal
Marcy provides creative and technical direction for communications efforts and advertising campaigns. She has both conceptual and technical expertise in print, web, and interactive design, and significant experience managing large projects and campaigns. With over 15 years of experience in both traditional and new media, she has led a diverse array of creative projects including museum and gallery exhibitions, political campaign communications, non-profit branding and marketing, educational publications and identity, direct mail campaigns, websites and online marketing and advertising. An accomplished painter, she has shown her work in Washington, DC and New York galleries.
Prior to founding WireMedia, Marcy established a design business in Washington, DC that provided creative direction and print design services to political campaigns nationwide, political action committees, non-profits and businesses.
In addition to her work with WireMedia, Marcy teaches web design courses at Parsons the New School for Design. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Leslie Cain · Design/Development Associate
Leslie provides print and web design and frontend site development services to WireMedia. Her experiences include web design and development for individual clients and Boston area musicians, as well as freelance print design. An avid printmaker, Leslie enjoys using her talent as an illustrator to create original silkscreen and lithograph prints.
Leslie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design from Parsons The New School for Design, with a focus on print and package design.
Bomee Jung · Senior Development Associate
Bomee Jung has developed Web-based applications in New York City since 1999. She designed and implemented the migration strategy from Oracle to MySQL for the Sundance Channel web site; developed and maintained Blink.com, an online bookmark storage application, as a member of a team of 6 programmers; and managed the Site Authoring department of the Financial Services Practice Group of iXL, Inc., serving Chase, Moody's, Merrill Lynch, and Kemper Insurance.
Bomee holds a BA from the University of Georgia, where she was a Foundation Fellow and National Merit Scholar. In 2007, she received a Master in City Planning from MIT.
She is the founder and an active board member of GreenHomeNYC, a non-profit organization that promotes sustainable construction in New York City.
Elektra Rose · Senior Associate
Elektra provides creative direction, print and web design, frontend site development, project management, and business development services to WireMedia. Her experience includes art direction and design of a wide range of print collateral — from direct mail and signage to invitations and annual reports. Elektra's non-profit clients have included JCC MetroWest, Junior Achievement of New Jersey, and Boy Scouts of America — Order of the Arrow.
Most recently she provided design and branding direction for a non-profit organization with a $14.5 million operating budget. She planned and contracted the backend development of the organization's website and custom content management system, and trained over 50 staff members in the use of this system. Elektra is also a talented artist who enjoys painting in acrylics and watercolors, and has exhibited her multimedia art in New York City galleries.
In addition to her work with WireMedia, Elektra regularly works on freelance projects for both print and web. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Simcha Shtull · Business Development Associate
Simcha provides business development services to WireMedia. An editor and communications specialist, she has over 20 years of experience in web design and editing, online publishing and interactive media. She has conceived, designed and managed web projects in the corporate and non-profit sectors of the United States, Israel and Europe. She founded and directed MAXIMA Multimedia, a media and online publisher that produced several award-winning multimedia products, museum kiosks, and websites for corporate, cultural and educational organizations. She also served as editor of the Museum of the Jewish Diaspora in Tel Aviv for several years.
In addition to her work with WireMedia, Simcha is an active freelance designer and editor and does communications work for a non-profit that promotes Jewish-Arab dialogue and coexistence. She has published two books: Letters Beyond the Sambatyon: The Myth of the Ten Lost Tribes and a multiple-media edition of Edward Lear's Book of Nonsense.
